Assalamualaikum...
A female patient,Fatma Ahmed Mohammada ( not real name ), 32 years old, housewife, married with 1 daughter from kafr sheik, admitted to the hospital on 10 nov 2009 complain of painless swelling lateral part in front of the neck since 1 year.
The condition is started since 1 year ago with single swelling at muscular triangle by gradual onset and slowly progressive course. The swelling is not painful and not associated with L.N neck swelling.
There is no pressure symptoms such as dysnea,dysphagia, or hoarseness of voice.
There is no toxic manifestation such as excessive sweating, palpitation,insomnia and irritability and loss of weight inspite good appetite.
There is no metastatic symptoms.
Patient have no Dm, no hypertension,no history of bilharziasis, no TB and no previous operation.
Family history is irrelevant.
General Examination:
Patient is fully conscious, well oriented, well developed, no special decubitus, no special gait, normal weight,no jaundice, no palor, and no cyanosis.
Vital sign:
BP: 112/65
Pulse: 80beats/min
RR: 17 cycle/min
Temp: 36.9
…. N bla3…
And…I was attended to the subtotal thyroidectomy of this patient……….
…Another case…I think I like the odd ones. Hehe….and I think when u know the odd , u will be more advance than other people…Know the odd, then u will be different than the others.. LOL….
This case is about a patient who is maybe psycho maybe not…I have been introduced this case by one of our doctors who teach us in clinical round. He gave to us a plain xray of abdomen. And I was astonished because I saw a lot of needles in her abdomen. Then I attended my 6th operation :D…. today~……
